The Mystic Raven was founded by Krista Schwimmer and Michael Wamback at Halifax, Nova Scotia in January of 1997. At the time we believed that there was need for a clear alternative to some of the commercial organizations offering readings.

From the beginning our focus has been on divination as an art and science. We have maintained a commitment to honesty and ethics fostering wonderful relationships with those whom we serve, relationships built on a foundation of integrity and trust.

The Mystic Raven is also dedicated to furthering the social acceptability of the art of divination by conducting workshops and seminars which are designed to move beyond the mystery of the reading process. We work to enhance the credibility of divination through workshops and publishing educational information.

Promoting and providing a platform for other readers who share our goals is also part of our mission. The Mystic Raven believes that it is important to help those who are serious students of divination receive the credit and attention they deserve.

Krista and Michael currently reside at Venice Beach, California. They oversee the reader program at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in West Hollywood and continue to appear on radio and television around they world. Through their travels and adventures, Krista and Michael continue to look forward to meeting as many divination enthusiasts as possible in the years to come.
